Create Picture Frame Chalkboards With the White Knight Range

What you’ll need
Gather the following materials:
  • Sandpaper
  • Picture frame
  • Gloves, dust mask, and glasses
  • Paint roller, tray, brush, and stirrer
  • Taubmans 3 in 1 Prep
  • White Knight Chalkboard Paint
  • White Knight Squirts Undercoat
  • Your favourite White Knight Squirts colours

How To Apply

  • Remove back from picture frame.

  • Sand and wipe clean of dust.

1Sand Picture Frame.

  • Apply one coat of White Knight Squirts Undercoat.

  • Allow one hour to dry.


This will help retain colour and prevent flaking.

2Spray Undercoat.

  • Spray your favourite White Knight Squirts colour.

  • Apply one to two coats.

  • Allow one hour to dry.

3Spray Colour.

  • Coat the backing with Taubmans 3 in 1 Prep.

  • Allow two hours to dry.

4Prime the Backing.

Apply two coats of White Knight Chalkboard Paint.

5Apply Chalkboard Paint.

  • Leave frames to dry completely for 24 hours.

  • Once dry, assemble your picture frame chalkboard.

6Allow Frames to Dry.
