White Knight Rust Guard Rust Converter
White Knight Rust Guard Rust Converter is a rust treatment that neutralises rust and converts it into a stable, paintable surface. It forms a protective barrier that helps prevent further corrosion and improves adhesion for primers and topcoats. Suitable for lightly rusted steel and ferrous metals, it is ideal where rust cannot be fully removed. Once dry, surfaces should be overcoated as part of a complete Rust Guard system.

How to Apply
- For best results, use the recommended White Knight products and follow the step-by-step guide below.
Remove all loose rust, scale and flaking paint using a wire brush, scraper or sandpaper
Do not polish back to clean metal — light rust must remain for the product to react
Ensure surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oil and contaminants
Do not apply to clean bare metal or non ferrous surfaces.
Shake or stir well before use
Pour required amount into a separate container (do not return unused product)
Apply evenly by brush to rusted areas only
Work into pits, seams and affected areas to ensure full coverage
Do not apply too thick: a thin, even coat ensures proper chemical reaction.
Avoid application in direct sun or on hot surfaces.Coverage: approximately 10m² per litre (lower on rough or heavily rusted surfaces)
Reaction time: 2 to 3 hours
Surface will turn blue black as conversion occurs
Allow to fully dry before overcoating
