White Knight Rust Guard Cold Gal Primer
White Knight Rust Guard Cold Gal Primer is a zinc rich metal primer that provides heavy duty, self sacrificing rust protection for steel and ferrous metals. It forms a protective barrier that helps prevent corrosion, even in harsh and coastal environments. Ideal for welds, structural steel and galvanised repairs, it can be used as a standalone coating or overcoated with Rust Guard topcoats for added durability.

How to Apply
- For best results, use the recommended White Knight products and follow the step-by-step guide below.
Remove all rust, scale and flaking paint back to bare metal
Ensure surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oil and contaminants
For best performance, apply to clean bare steel.
Stir thoroughly for at least 5 minutes before use
Continue stirring during application to maintain zinc dispersion
Apply by brush or roller
For added durability or a decorative finish, overcoat with a suitable White Knight Rust Guard topcoat. Use Rust Guard Cold Gal Silver where a metallic galvanised finish is required, or Rust Guard Quick Dry Advanced Enamel for coloured finishes.
Coverage: approximately 7m² per litre, depending on surface condition
Touch dry: 30 minutes
Recoat: after 8 hours
Drying will be slower in cold, humid or low ventilation conditions.
