White Knight® Prep Rite Grip Lock Primer can be used on glossy surfaces, ceramics, tiles, laminates, fibreglass, PVC pipes, plastic and glass.

How to apply:

  • Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from grease, oil, dirt, rust scale, wax, mildew and other contaminants.
  • Thoroughly sand all glossy and enamel surfaces.
  • Fill nail holes and cracks with appropriate filler and sand smooth.
  • Treat any mould with suitable anti mould solution.
  • Remove all loose and flaking paint and wash with a detergent solution.
  • Lightly sand the surface of ceramics, laminates and fibreglass and dust down.

  • Stir thoroughly with a broad flat stirrer in a circular lifting motion for at least 5 minutes before use and continue to stir at regular intervals during application.
  • Apply 1 coat by brush. Work well into cracks and crevices.

Do not use when air or surface temperature is below 15°C or above 30°C or in excessive humidity.

  • Approximately 14m² per litre, depending on the nature of the surface.

  • Touch dry in 30 minutes. Re-coat after 2 hours. Maximum adhesion and hardness on non-porous surfaces may take 3-4 days. Drying will be slower in cold or humid conditions, in the absence of ventilation or where heavy film builds are applied.
