White Knight Rust Guard Cold Gal Silver is a heavy-duty, zinc-rich coating designed to deliver superior rust protection while providing a durable silver metallic finish. Ideal for steel, wrought iron, welds and repairing damaged galvanised iron, it forms a rust-inhibiting protective barrier that performs in harsh and corrosive environments.

How to Apply
- For best results, use the recommended White Knight products and follow the step-by-step guide below.
Remove all rust back to bare metal where possible
Ensure surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oil and contaminants
Remove scale and loose coatings before application
In severe conditions, prime bare steel with an appropriate White Knight Rust Guard Cold Gal Primer
Do not use with acidic products such as rust converters or concrete etchers
Stir thoroughly using a broad flat stirrer for at least 5 minutes before use and during application
Surface contamination or remaining rust can reduce coating performance and durability.
Apply using brush or roller
Apply 2 coats for best results
Work evenly across the surface to maintain a consistent metallic finish
Do not apply below 10°C or above 35°C
Uneven application can affect finish consistency and protection.
Covers approximately 7m² per litre per coat, depending on surface
Touch dry: ~15 minutes
Recoat: after 1 hour
Drying will be slower in cold, humid or low ventilation conditions or where heavy films are applied.
